Birthday Girl

I'm three years old! I celebrated my birthday all day long on the 16th. I brought cupcakes to school for snack time and my friends sang "Happy Birthday" to me. After school, my friends Lily and Ella came over for lunch and we had more cupcakes and there was more singing!

Daddy came home from work early and we opened presents. I got a new bathrobe, which I put on right away. Auntie Juliet gave me a really neat ladybug rain hat and I think it goes well with my bathrobe. Granny made me a pair of dolls that have clothes and I had to dress them right away. We named them Dressy-Bessie and Dapper Dan.

Aunt Barbi and Uncle Doc came for dinner - spaghetti & meatballs! Our neighbors George, Kathleen & Joyce came over for cake & ice cream and more singing of "Happy Birthday!" It was a very fun day and I loved every minute of it. I've been telling everyone that I'm a big girl now. I'm three!

Adventures in Arizona

Okay, so I know I'm a bit late in getting to the whole blogging party. I blame my parents. How come cousin Alyssa already has a blog? She's just a baby - I'm bigger and I should have had one first. I think I'll fire my mom & dad.

Anyway, welcome to my blog. I have lots to tell you about my world and the things I do but I'll start with my vacation in Arizona, or my "holiday" in Arizona for my English family! Mommy and I spent 6 days in Scottsdale with Papa, Nana & Tashi. It was so much fun and the sun felt so good. I got to wear shorts and sandals every day, it was great! We went to the pool, too, but I just hung out on the steps or on the side, dangling my feet in the water.

We went to the Sugar Bowl for ice cream, saw lots of cactus and butterflies at the Botanical Garden, and went to the zoo. I rode a dragon on the carousel and even got to brush some goats.

It was a great vacation but I was glad to get home and see Daddy. We missed him!
